I just returned from a great visit with the Nelsons in Saskatchewan. I flew to Calgary first, on May 28th and headed then to Sask. driving with Laura, Sophia and niece Liz. It was so great to see them again. Once in Sask. we also met up with Charlotte Nelson who had joined us for some special Nelson days.
May 30th was Georgia's 8th birthday and also her Baptism day. The service was held in the branch building, then we headed to a private pool for the baptism. It was a wonderful event.
Laura and I ( and Co) had checked into a hotel for the first couple of days, so later in the day we surprised Georgia with a pool birthday party with family and a few of her friends.
This was also a special time for Jessica, as she was leaving Junior High school for High school and it was fun to celebrate her too. High school starts in ninth grade in Sask.
The school hosted a lovely dinner, and graduation program for these students and there families. We also surprised Jessica with a grad breakfast. ( a bit of a challenge in the midst of home renovations)
Opps I skipped over that we attended a great band concert with both Jacob and Jessica performing, and also some fun soccer with Sarah. This is one very busy family....sure do love them!!!
There was also campfires, school field days, giraffe making, library visits, Regina roadtrip, card making and lots more. I took a few photos....and here are some of them
It was a great time....always good to have these special moments with my fab five, Kathy and Jeff
and the fur-friends.
Thanks everyone
