MAGICAL MARCH continued

So March needed its 'happily ever after' and on Sunday it happened. After a ten day school trip, (he was the head organizer) to Germany, France and England Daddy came home to meet his sweet son. As much as the worry was gone from his trip as to whether or not baby might come early; Michael always looked like a sad puppy when he'd call each night. Indeed... it made for an interesting birth story for Henry.
The school group arrived home about 3 in the afternoon and Michael, Bill, and Steve ( school principal) weren't long getting home to Pine Grove. Keah and I ( with the three kiddies) had spent some time at the Seymours for an amazing dinner. We headed home and the wait by the window was on. Once the car pulled in Michael was out and racing to the door. There were a few tears of joyful welcome and plenty of squeals of happiness. It is great to have Daddy home. Bill stayed on for the night but headed home on Monday. I'll be here for a few more days then home to rest up for Calgary.
Here's the reunion photos....does a heart good....

First...from our sunny Saturday, and Sunday morning....

Marvelous magical miraculous March

 William 'Henry' O'Hearon
  March 10th.2016
As March draws to a close in the next week I thought that I'd steal a few minutes to begin my March post. This is the month full of hope...most especially that Spring will soon be here. For us it has been the month of baby hopes and this has proven to make March extra exciting. Grand baby #10, William Henry was scheduled to come on March 22 ( c-section)....HOWEVER this charming boy had other plans.

Backtracking a wee bit to 2014 and our son began the planning of a fabulous trip for high school students from his school to visit Germany, France and England. Thirty students plus a group of adult chaperons, and parents signed on to the plan and the trip was to happen from March 10-20, 2016. No where in the plans was there mention of the head of the trip having an addition to his family.

To shorten the story somewhat...the NGHS group flew out from Halifax at noon on March 10th. At 7:15pm as we were preparing to tuck the girls in bed, Keah exclaimed...my water broke....by 10:12 pm we were welcoming a darling  6lb.11oz. boy to our family. Poor Michael received the news the next morning as they arrived in Berlin. He was mid Atlantic when sweet Henry arrived.

Keah remained in hospital until Sunday and my gramma duties started immediately. It's been a busy and enjoyable week. We had to make a few trips back to hospital to do checks on Henry ( blood ) and in the process we have watched his weight dip then rebound back. He's a great eater, and seems to maybe be getting his nights and days turned around. Whatever the case I'm getting lots of cuddling time with him and some fun play times with the girls. ( this is also their March break )

So that is the  MAIN highlight of March. Other notes of interest to remember...Emmy and Finley turned six ( with Birthday cake at the hospital ),Cooper turned 7, and Jacob is reaching 12 this year!! Laura will be 38 weeks plus at the end of the month, and I'll be packing again..off to Calgary on April 2. I have done more sewing and card making. I was released from my Sunday school assignment and am now teaching in Relief Society. I attended the Relief Society birthday party.
Now for a few photos.
