From this beautiful vista it was on to Newfoundland to share my family roots with Connie and Renee. We crossed on Tuesday night, drove on to Burgeo on Wednesday morning, had lovely visits with our Burgeo cousins...Guy, Marg, Frank,Lil, Rex and Annie. Sadly missed Nancy. On to Francois and it didn't disappoint. We stayed in the Greene family home, and had visits with Aubrey and Bernice ( and Henry), Bill and Alice, Matt and others about the community. We hiked up behind the village, to the top of Charlie's Head, tracking a moose around the pond, boat trip to Chaleur, tour of the school and simple walkabouts.
Sadly, the photos from this part of the trip are somewhere in cyber space and I'm still trying to locate them.
We returned to Nova Scotia on Saturday. Connected with Dianne, then headed back to Halifax for Thanksgiving weekend.
It was a much to quick trip for Connie and Renee as they headed back to the USA on Tuesday. Loved having them here and sharing Canada with them..and Thanksgiving.
