                                    December 5th 1975

Some special moments to remember....Dec.5th.2015....our Fortieth Anniversary. I served at the Temple all day and came home to some special treats...40 Lindt candies.....and the most beautiful card...I will treasure it for ever!!!
YOU AND ME...the inside verse said....
You and Me
Me and You
Us.We.
Sounds right no matter
how you say it.
Happy Anniversary

Today, I thought that I would record 40 things that I've treasured ....
( I'm honestly not sure where to begin)
Forty years sounds long but it's really just a blink
It has been a continual learning curve
It has had 'for better and for worse'
It has been the happiest and the saddest
It began on a snowy winter day
We built a sweet happy family
A son and three daughters
We lived in four different homes.
We had several pets...Fish, gerbils, cats and dogs
We added the 'in law' sons and daughter
We added nine amazing grandchildren
(seven girls and two boys)
We'll have two more in 2016. ( I'm so excited)
We travelled...Florida, Hawaii, western Canada,
France,and lots of other places in between.
We've learned patience.
We've learned unconditional love
We've learned to say 'I love you'
and I'm sorry.
We raised our family in the Gospel.
We value our beliefs and they make us who we are.

Well, that's eighteen....then there was....
soccer games; jobs at McDonalds and Roots;
broken legs ( at the Dingle and Citadel Hill)
snorkeling with turtles; early morning seminary;
moves across country (miss my western families)
summer fun club; Barbie dolls; Lego
family gatherings; visits with grandparents;Sturgeous;
basketball; piano lessons; graduations; baby showers;
Kindred Spirits; weddings; house renovations;
Disney World; Disney World;
Disney World; Disney World; did I say Disney World;
Christmas concerts;Birthday parties;
lots of teenagers hanging out;
ginger cookies; smoothies;
and on and on..............
Forty years have flown by, and been the worst and BEST days....we have learned so much together....and together we have so much. We have lots more to experience together and Bill ( aka... Dad; Pop; Walt; and even Grumpy) I'm looking forward to many more adventures...after all....
   It's a Small World After All. Happy Anniversary Much Love

Some random family favorites.....
