Insane

Sometimes I feel a bit insane....just saying

I have a wonderful life...full to overflowing....maybe a little part of my insanity.....blessed with miracles, and so much love. My family is everything...EVERYTHING.....I am nothing without them. I don't like that they are spread out across the country, but that is beyond my control. I do love that they all send me photos....one of the best parts of my day when I receive a photo from any of them....both near and far.

 

 

 

 

Happy Halloween

Now some know that Halloween is not my most favorite celebration. I don't really mind the fun dressing up ( that others do) but I think that it's the excess of candy that really turns me off.  Having expressed that, I do still participate in the event. ( and eat way too much candy....no will power)

I arrived home late on the 30th, and Friday was spent with Olivia, and getting ready for the Bridgewater family. We did pizza for dinner, and got the girls ready to head off trick or treating. Just as photos were finished Emmy got very sick to her tummy. Oh dear !!! We cleaned her all up and she insisted that she go with the others.....three houses later and she and grandma were on their way back to settle that tummy down. While the others continued on Emmy and I passed out goodies, and entertained aunt Julie and Uncle Bill. Emmy seemed to re energize and when the others returned for a bathroom stop she tried again. (very successful this time) Oh sweet Halloween !! Finley was sick through the night....Oh sweet Halloween. The girls stayed with me on Saturday to recoup, while their Italian brother, Francesco played for the provincial soccer title (a victory)

 

 

 

Happy November 1st

October.....beyond full!!

My memory is horrible which is precisely why I must keep this blog going. ( Thank you daughters ) I rely on my camera memories to remember what I have done yesterday!!! Very sad indeed. Now I need something to help me organize my time better so that I record what I have been doing before I forget what the photos mean.  I'm in a memory funk tonight, quite bothered by it all.

There, that vent felt better. I want to do a quickie post to make myself feel better. I last posted about Thanksgiving. ( a great memory)  After that fun weekend, we returned to Calgary for some other memories. Bill and I made a journey to visit with Dave and Hazel Goble, seeing Brian and Melissa along the way. Bill and Connie returned home and I stayed to help with the Dunford move. We had a great girls ( witches) gathering at Katherine's, did lots of paper work and packing and then headed to Washington for the next saga of Laura and Jeremy and Sophia. I returned to Halifax on the 30th. What a very full month. 

Grateful.....to have been at Sophia's birth, to be there to help Laura and Jeremy, to visit with family and old friends, to see more of the west, to learn more life lessons and so much more. Grateful for family above all else....reunions and facetimes...miss not all being together.
