APRIL ADVENTURES PART 2

Continuing on with April...after the excitement of April 11th, life did not return to normal. Laura and Lucy came home on Tuesday the 12th. The mid-wives paid us a few visits and then we were off and running...errands, more visits ( it was great when people came our way), and lots of preparations for the end of the month move. We attended church on Sunday, to the surprise of a few. Laura was just a ball of energy. Sophia and I continued to enjoy the park and glorious warm weather.  The following  week we prepared for our first long distance adventure.

Friday, the 22nd we headed off to Saskatchewan to see Kathy and the crew. Laura had had her first experience with mastitis ( hopefully her last) but she was determined to visit her sister and the kiddies. It was a long straight drive and the girls were great ( except for one nasty diaper blow out ) It was wonderful to once again be with the Nelsons. Cousins were excited to see Lucy and to play with Sophia. We stayed with them until the following Wednesday, and loved celebrating Kathy's birthday with her. We had one hospital trip while there, to check on neck muscle spasms that hit Laura just before church on Sunday. It was  a fun visit with lots of games, a poppy trip to McD, Jeff's yummy cinnamon buns, playgrounds and giggles and it continued to remind me how much I miss these guys.

Farewell to Saskatchewan once again.
I love and miss you !!

I'm going to add a PS here. We had a short trip before Sask. to Cochran Alberta that I have to blog about here. It was a second visit  to the home of Matt and Kristi Drennan and their precious boys. This wonderful family has been so good to Laura and me. They have fed us, and loved us and I want to add a few photos of them.

Love this sweet family
